Tower crane (Tower Crane) is a machine used to lift things vertically and move along the horizontal line, often found in construction sites. Most of us can classify the type. And the types are as follows: a flat boom (Hammerhead Crane) and a downed boom (Luffing Jib Crane), both of which can also be separated into 3 types of installation, namely, the type installed outside the building (Static Crane), climbed in Elevator port or opening (Internal Floor Climbing) and rail (Travelling Crane). There are also self-mounting tower cranes known as Self-Erection as well
1. The tower pole, which is the structural load-bearing part of the tower crane, is made up of angle steel trusses or round tubes. Secure the joints with high-strength bolts. which makes it convenient to assemble and dismantle.
2. Material lifting arm consists of angle steel truss or round tube steel. The joints are fixed with high-strength bolts like the tower poles. They can be connected as long as required to lift the weight of the material.
3. Weighted weights It is a concrete block that acts as a counterweight to balance the lifting arm while lifting the material.
4. The control tower is considered to be a room for the crane operator to command the cable slings and hoists for lifting materials. Including moving the arm to lift the material to different directions as needed to rotate in any direction.
